*Friendly reminder, please request your pet's
reservation as far in advanced as possible as we do book up quickly and we have a limited amount of space.
Thank you, CCK Staff.*
After 26 years of running Country Club Kennels and Training I am making the difficult decision to downscale our numbers once again. I love our current staff members but we are finding it more and more difficult to find, hire, train, and retain enough new employees who possess the skills and work ethic required to perform this job successfully. We are honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of your precious pets and know that if we want to continue with that trust we need to have very high standards for our employees so that we can ensure all of our guests are receiving the level of care we are known for providing. We have made the decision to downscale our numbers as we never want to take more dogs than we can properly care for. With this said, we are also no longer going to be able to accept new clients with dogs who cannot go out in play group with other friendly dogs. It is extremely stressful on the staff when dogs are questionable and/or inappropriate in their interactions with other dogs. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to caring for your “dog friendly” dogs in the future (space permitting)!
General Boarding Information:
NEW RENOVATIONS/KENNELS:
On January 2016 we underwent a major renovation in an effort to ensure that our boarding guests enjoy their indoor accommodations as much as their outdoor playtime. Our new Mason kennels have tempered glass fronts for dogs who enjoy more of an open atmosphere. We also have kennels which are glass with a privacy panel for dogs who prefer a little solitude. Our kennels are extra large and are climate controlled with heat and air conditioning. Our facility is kept immaculate and is disinfected daily. Each building has a generator so even in the event of a power outage, we can ensure that our guests remain happy and comfortable.

Bedroom suites:
Bedroom suites are available for dogs with special needs and/or small "social dogs". Accommodations are separated from the regular kennels and include toddler beds, cushy doggie beds and "relaxing music."
Care Givers:
All dogs are handled by loving, attentive, qualified staff most of whom have been with CCK for years. We are flexible in your dog's care and needs. If your dog requires something special such as being hand fed or sung to, we are happy to oblige. We understand that it is difficult for some dogs to be away from their home and owners and we are happy to take the extra time and make the effort to make your dog comfortable and happy to be with us. On the rare occasion where we find a dog is just not acclimating to boarding....we will let you know as they would probably be better off having someone stay in their home with them. Each dog is thoroughly checked over from head to foot twice a day for their safety and well being. Country Club Kennels only hires people who are truly passionate about dogs and the care they provide to them.
OUTINGS/PLAYTIME:
All dogs who stay with us are given exercise/playtime 6 to 7 times a day in large, grass exercise paddocks surrounded by 6 foot fencing. A tired dog is a happy dog! Country Club Kennels is designed to accommodate friendly, social dogs. In order to take all of our dogs out 6-7 times a day, we are not able to take in too many anti social dogs at any one time as there are not enough hours in the day to ensure everyone would still have their numerous outings. Our social dogs are turned out to play in supervised play groups with owner's permission and at the kennel's discretion. If your dog does not do well with other dogs, feel free to contact us to discuss. We may be able to take him/her in as long as we do not have too many other singles.
Note! There are no additional charges for these outings unlike many other facilities. We make sure each dog is treated equally and given ample opportunity to go out and get some fresh, country air, socialize with their friends, sniff and explore and run and frolic.

Proof of Current Vaccinations
- All dogs require proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella vaccinations.
- Country Club Kennels requires that dogs have their Bordatella vaccine every six months, and must have it administered at least one week prior to arrival. We understand that some vets say that their vaccine is good for one year, however, in an effort to minimize the risk of kennel cough occurring and/or spreading, we have consulted with our vets and feel it is in everyone's best interest to have the vaccine given every six months. We will accept a vaccinated dog as long as the bordatella has been given with the past nine months, however, we still prefer every six months.
- This is mandatory and is for the benefit of your pet as well as any other boarders.
- Please e-mail or fax your pet's shot record prior to dropping of your pet.
- Medications are administered at no extra charge!
* Note: All medication(s) must be accompanied with written instructions signed by the owner, pertaining to: How, When and the Quantity to administer. It is also important that we know what the medication is being administered for. If medications are excessive or need to be given more than twice a day, a minor charge may be applied.
(Example): "Take one tablet by mouth 4 times a day, after meals and at bedtime."

Please bring your pet's food in a sealed container, your contact phone number and any medication currently being taken by your pet.
You are welcome to bring special treats and labeled personalized belongings. However, we cannot guarantee that all personal belongings are returned in the condition they arrive in. We provide bedding to all of our boarders.
We have toddler beds, Kuranda cot beds, plush doggie beds and blankets. If you prefer that your dog have his or her own bed you are welcome to bring it, however, we ask that it not be excessively bulky.

Doggie Daycare:
Does your dog love to run, play and romp with other friendly dogs? Is he or she bored at home while you work? Why not bring your precious pooch to Country Club Kennels and Training for daycare where they will have a day of fun and fresh air. While most doggie daycare facilities are indoors with multiple dogs crowded into small rooms, our dogs get to enjoy multiple, huge, securely fenced play yards with grass underneath their feet. You won’t have to worry about your dog having to “hold it” or learn to go to the bathroom on the floor as we take out dogs out a minimum of 6x/day. When they are inside, they have their own personal space where they can rest and relax on a cozy bed without feeling pestered by other dogs when they are tired. Our playgroups are always closely supervised by skilled, affectionate and well-trained staff members. We group our dogs according to temperament, size and playstyle. If your dog is shy and reserved, they go out with a low-key group. If your dog is hyper and loves to “go go go”…. they join the high key playgroup. Of course, we have moderate groups as well so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their time with us and make new friends with similar personalities. Our facility is located on 44 beautiful, resort like country acres. While your pet is with us, they can also sign up for special activities to include pool parties (in the summer), pond trips, nature walks, chuck it sessions, field days (5-acre fenced paddock), massage or photo sessions. Give us a call at 540-788-3559 to schedule. Your dog will definitely thank you for it!
